Simplexity Analysis produces aggregate forecasts. This technique involves gathering data from a range of open data sources, social media, big data sources and specific client archives as required. Once collected, this data is ‘ingested’ by splitting it into its constituent strings – which are added to a central ‘trend hub’ database. This data is then sampled based on the most frequently occurring word frequencies. This raw data is subjected to a systems analysis to produce a ‘knowledge map’ of the most pertinent issues and trends contained in the data. This is then used as a basis for assessments of risks/probabilities as required for the clients’ particular context.
